He's a very unique talent . We've actually been threatening to work together since our very first meeting but, unfortunately, each of our busy schedules and geographic limitations have kept us out of playing in the studio together. Maybe someday we'll get a chance to do so. I certainly hope so. If Alan is ever given the right opportunity that he so justly deserves, he would definitely be a star. Hopefully, when he does, he'll remember me as one of his biggest fans and put me in his will.

A man was talking to someone next to him while we were all walking out of an intimate venue where Alan Gerber had just performed. "That wasn't music...that was magic," I heard him say. A few years later, when I was planning to start my own committee with the purpose of presenting concerts, Gerber seemed like a good choice for our debut event. After his performance a man in his early twenties came up to me and said,"That was amazing! I've never seen anything like it." A few minutes later a man in his sixties approached me and expressed the same sentiments. That was exactly what we were looking for...an artist who was hip but not trendy, and one who had cross-generational appeal. Gerber sold dozens of CDs that night and our concert series was launched with a bang!
