Winter Has Arrived

Today I woke up to -20 degrees Celcius and realized that winter is definitely alive and well in "The Great White North" of Val David. Now is the time for snow removal, keeping our slow-burning stove well-stoked, long strolls in the woods and preparations for the coming year. I will be doing a few shows close to home, some more of my school workshop/concert appearances, a mini-tour in Abitabi,QC, another small tour in the Yucatan Peninsula and organizing shows for the spring/summer/fall of 2012. I plan to be in The Maritimes at the end of March or beginning of April, do a West-Coast tour with my daughter, Hannah, in May and as many festivals as possible this summer. I am already confirmed for the Orangeville Blues Festival on the first week-end of June and will start posting other dates on the "Live" section of my site as soon as they are confirmed. Now is also a good time for working on new music, new recordings, and various other plans for 2012. I hope that our paths cross in the near future!
